Saved in Vain

After I was saved I told my husband that Jesus was really alive. He thought I had lost my mind. I learned quickly that talking about Jesus…how He made things make sense…and how I was no longer alone in myself…was a reality that was best kept to myself. No child wants to be made fun of. Fitting in is painfully important.

2 Cor 6:1-2
We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you,
And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

We can receive the grace of God in vain. Most of us do…at least for a time.

If this is you right now…remember Whom you have believed. Be strong and courageous. No longer live in fear. The Spirit of the living God lives in you. He has even gone before you.

Now is the time.
