I don’t find it coincidence that I have been hearing references to Hitler with the election only days away. We pick the worst guy we can think of from the past, and start shooting blanks. “Do you see how a nation falls apart because of it’s ruler!?”
What I find heartbreaking is that we think we are on the brink of something terrible, when terrible has been here for generations. (But that is not to say that it can not get worse…because it can.) We are attempting to prevent the fall of a nation that is fallen.
Like an angel of light, we have “helped” that woman who would otherwise throw herself down a flight of stairs or insert some foreign object into her uterus, by legalizing the surgical evacuation of her physical, emotional, and economical, dilemma. Her safe abortion has created stability in her currently unstable state of mind. Right? Now — 54 million lives later we have helped her establish more security and self respect. More peace. More emotional solidity.
Abortion has moved our nation forward: We have far less sexually transmitted diseases, rape, poverty…and children. Women are being cherished, cared for, and protected by men. There is less abuse, and single mothers are barely named among us. Men and women are stepping into marriage with a sense of unity, commitment, loyalty, love, and respect toward one another, because we see each other as far more valuable. Don’tcha love the truth…it makes ya so free.
It’s such a relief to know we would never participate in the extermination of a race of people. And we are fighting diligently to keep that from happening. Yet, for the last 39 years — we are at a rate of 1.4 million human beings per year. And that’s only in America…the land of the free. And before all you men start pointing fingers at her…let’s not forget that you are the so-called “leaders of our nation.” You have been given more power, push, and resources. And YOU are the ones seducing her. You are the ones oppressing and defiling her, and making yourselves a big fat profit off of her. Maybe — not always in the flesh — but then certainly in print.
This is not a blog about abortion, and it’s certainly not about the rights of women. It is a blog about a nation living as slaves to sin, when we, as individuals, are convinced we are living in “the truth.”
And you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to Me. Jer 16:12
The truth can set you free…but there is no “truth” in and of itself. Jesus Christ IS the truth. And apart from Him…alive in you…by the working of His Holy Spirit…through the forgiveness of your sins…you will always be a slave to the liar and sin. At the end of the day, you will not know what is true.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17
